Man hit partner around 20 times

Sentence on a man who admitted assaulting his partner and being threatening and abusive to a port security officer has been adjourned.
51 year old Steven Roy Herbert Whittle admitted he was abusive to the officer, who had issued a parking fine to Whittle.
The Laxey man also admitted he hit his partner around 20 times during an arguement with her, leaving her bruised.
The prosecution are seeking total costs of £1650.
The Deputy High Bailiff bailed Whittle, and adjourned sentence whilst a social enquiry report is compiled
