Social Care seeks £2.8million for housing scheme

The Department of Social Care is to ask Tynwald for £2.8million to help members of the Manx public buy houses.
Minister Martyn Quayle will seek the funds for the House Purchase Assistance Scheme at this month's sitting of the Island's Parliament.
The money would be taken from the Housing Reserve Fund and Capital Transaction Account.
Tynwald sits from 18th January
