Douglas Borough provide Christmas tree recycling

Douglas Borough Council have set up a disposal service for natural Christmas trees.
The service will start this weekend and will see collection teams in designated areas throughout Saturday and Sunday ready to take the tress for recycling.
The scheme will see the recycled material used in the boroughs parks and gardens.

Douglas Borough Council will reuse the chipped material in the Borough’s parks and gardens and also in Summerhill Glen. Natural trees for recycling may also be deposited at the Eastern civic amenity site at Middle River.
Please do not bin or dump your natural Christmas tree.
