Ramsey ASSI rescinded

The Area of Special Scientific Interest in Ramsey Estuary is being rescinded.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has removed the ASSI controls in the area.
The designation was only brought in earlier this year.
The area is also subject to plans for a marina.
A public consultation regarding proposed areas of special scientific interest off Ramsey Bay will begin shortly
