Iain Dixon and Val Cowley with their awards
Two members of the Manx Gilbert and Sullivan society have picked up prestigious awards in the UK.
Val Cowley won best director and Iain Dixon picked up the most promising newcomer in a musical award at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association Awards for the North West.
The awards come following the society's production of HMS Pinafore, which was Val's directoral debut, and Iain's first principal role with the society.
