Man excluded from Island for assaulting girlfriend

Police escorted a Preston man to the Ben my Chree last night, after he was charged with assaulting his girlfriend.
The man, in his twenties, has been given an exclusion order, banning his from returning to the Island.
He's appeared before the Deputy High Bailiff earlier that day.
