50 vehicles with defective lights have been stopped by police as part of a recent safety campaign.
Over the course of one week earlier this month, 230 vehicles were stopped.
Of those found to have faults, most were for one light not working. There was one arrest for drink driving.
The campaign was carried out by police from the roads policing unit and the Vehicle Testing Centre.
It's expected there'll be another week of checks during December.
