Warning against false qualification claims

The Island's Office of Fair Trading is warning against local traders making false claims about qualifications.
The organisation has issued eight letters in the last year to such traders, and two have received formal cautions.
The OFT says only a minority make false claims.
Consumers are advised to contact the organisation who issued the qualification to check its authenticity.
