Fire fighters are currently tackling a major blaze at an industrial unit in Balthane.

The fire is in the former Lyte Ladders building and is described as ‘well alight’.

Energy FM understands the building is currently occupied by Buck Recycling.

At least 7 fire appliances and a foam unit are on the scene.
