Over 40 seagulls are getting ready to be released back into the wild after a good shower and clean up.

The birds were found behind the House of Manannan in Peel last Thursday covered in a light oil and unable to fly.

The MSPCA have washed them down and helped them to re waterproof their feathers before they are released.

Jenny Corran from the MSPCA gave us this update earlier.
