Handbag snatched in Douglas

Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team are investigating the theft of a handbag from a house in Douglas.
The grey coloured bag was taken from inside the property on Lord St between 5.15pm and 8.00pm yesterday and contained cash in excess of £140 pounds.
Police have said the theft occurred on a bust street at a busy time and must have been seen by members of the public.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lord St Police station.
