Thousands turn out for star's funeral

Sir Norman Wisdom's coffin as it passed the Villa Marina
The funeral of one of the Island's most popular residents has taken place.
The family, friends and fans of Sir Norman Wisdom filled St George's Church for the service this afternoon.
Thousands turned out to pay their respects as his coffin was taken by horse drawn carriage from Summerhill, along the prom and up to the church.
The comedy legend died aged ninety-five earlier this month.
