An MHK has failed in his attempts to have a committee set up to look into the reciprocal health agreement negotiations.

Quintin Gill wanted Tynwald to look into how the arrangements were handled.

The UK had planned on ending it's reciprocal health agreement with the Island earlier this year, but last minute negotiations saved the agreement.

Mr Gill had hoped the committee would help if a similar situation arose again in the future.
