The Chairman of Michael Commissioners will ask Tynwald to reconsider plans to build a new GP surgery in Jurby this morning.

Stephen Hamer believes the £1.6million allocated to the project should be divided between Jurby and Kirk Michael for two surgeries.

According to the 2006 census, Kirk Michael has a population of just over 1600, whilst Jurby has just 600.

President of Tynwald Noel Cringle decided to allow Mr Hamer to speak at the bar of Tynwald [play clip]
