MHK says Social Care Department isn't up to scratch

The Social Care Minister has been accused of running a sub-standard Department
Douglas East MHK Chris Robertshaw believes there hasn't been an independent review of the social services division because it's not up to scratch.
Minister Martyn Quayle told Tynwald there are to be three internal reviews before the Department is ready for an external examination.
Such a review was recommended in the commission inquiry into the care of young people on the Island in 2006, following the murders of two teenagers in care in 2002.
Mr Robertshaw believes there hasn't been an external inquiry because the Department isn't good enough [play clip]
