The Treasury Minister has welcomed the fall in unemployment in September.
Anne Craine says long term unemployment has seen a marked improvement over recent months.
There was a slight increase in unemployment in the retail sector in September, but all other areas saw a reduction.
Unemployment it at its lowest level this year.
