House fire in Kirk Michael

Fire crews were called to a house in Kirk Michael yesterday morning.
An electrical fire, originating in the porch, was spreading into the roof and the property has become heavily smoke logged.
All the occupants had evacuated the house without sustaining injury, although they were slightly shaken.
Officers spent around 90 minutes at the scene, extinguishing the fire and ensuring no hot spots remained.
