DEC must ensure safety of pupils

The Education Minister says his Department has a responsibility to ensure the safety of pupils, but that strict health and safety rules aren't the way forward.
Eddie Teare says the Department of Education and Children has to prevent children sustaining injuries whilst at school.
The comments come after the UK tightened up its laws surrounding personal injury claims.
