Approval for nearly £5 million worth of capital spending is to be asked for at this month's sitting of Tynwald.

Health Minister David Anderson will ask for £1.6 million for a new GP surgery in Jurby.

£1.5 million is needed to upgrade sections of the Snaefell Mountain Railway track.

Treasury Minister Anne Craine says capital spending is important, despite the current financial climate.
