Car drives away after hitting pedestrian

Police are investigating after a woman was knocked down by a car in Douglas.
The car, believed to be a blue Renault Megane was travelling up Anagh Coar Road when it knocked over a female pedestrian who was crossing the road.
The pedestrian sustained minor leg injuries and suffered from shock as a result of the collision at around 3.15 yesterday afternoon.
The car drove away from the scene and hasn't contacted police.
