Men chased from flat with golf club

Two men have been given suspended sentences for breaking into a flat and intimidating the occupant.
21 year old Oliver Clifford Larrasey and 19 year old Ashley Jonathon Charles Jones, both from Douglas, admitted a section two public order offence.
They broke into the flat with three others on Derby Road in July to confront a man who was allegedly spreading rumours about Larassey.
The occupant felt intimidated and chased the group from the flat with a golf club.
Larassey received an 8 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, whilst Jones was given 6 weeks suspended for a year.
