Summerland sale on hold

A bid to redevelop the Summerland site is to be reconsidered by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
GB Buildings Solutions put forward a tendor earlier this year, but it was deemed unsuitable.
As a result, the Department announced that it would be selling off the land.
However, a meeting between Minister David Cretney and GB Buildings has resulted in the sale being put on hold.
The two parties will meet again in a weeks time.
