Prosecution begins case in manslaughter trial

The Prosecution has given its opening statement in the manslaughter trial of a man from Jurby.
Craig Thomas Sheppard is on trial for the unlawful killing of Lionel Ramsey Kewley outside the Trafalgar pub in Ramsey.
The incident took place in June last year, however Mr Kewley died as a result of his injuries last October.
The Jury has been given the details of the prosecution case and will hear the evidence of the first witness this afternoon.
The trial continues.
