Unemployment falls in August

Unemployment continues to fall on the Isle of Man
In figures released this week 771 people were unemployed at the end of August, a decrease of 51 during the month. It's also the first fall in August for 4 years.
The Treasure Minister Anne Craine has welcomed the news but remains focused on keeping the islands unemployment rate below 3.5 per cent. SO far the economy is outperforming expectations with the rate standing at 1.8 per cent.
