Teen sorry for drunken behaviour

An 18 year old woman from Douglas has appeared in court to answer charges of shoplifting and being drunk and disorderly.
Leah Vernon a resident at a care home in the area, admitted stealing alcohol and other items from Tesco and apologised for her drunken behaviour in the Sunken Gardens.
Ms Vernon has been placed on probation for two years and has been banned from purchasing or being sold alcohol for 12 months.
