An inquest into the death of a prisoner from Jurby has been opened.

James Richard Fargher from Peel was serving a 4 yr sentence for indecent assault and had been described by Police as a sexual bully, saying he targeted the vulnerable, including those with learning difficulties.

He died in Nobles hospital on Aug 18th from a heart attack, contributed by him being obese.

The Coroner of inquests Mr Alistair Montgomerie revealed that a jury inquest will be required due to Mr Fargher being a prisoner at the time of his death.
