An inquest has been opened into the death of a man 52 year old man from Laxey
The body of George Stephen Crowe was found hanging by his wife at Riverside cottage just over a week ago, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Crowe was known to have suffered from depression and had made earlier attempts to take his own life.
The official cause of death was Asphyxia
