Jail warning for man who assaulted police officer

A Douglas man has appeared in court for assaulting a police officer.
29 year old Richard Owen admitted kicking an officer who was called to his home last month to deal with a domestic incident.
When police attended they arrested Owen, and he was abusive and threatening.
The Deputy High Bailiff told him he could be going to prison.
He bailed Owen to September 17th when he'll be sentenced.
