Local high school turned into Army camp

The Colonel of the army regiment who recieved the freedom of the borough of Douglas this weekend has given thanks to a local high school.
The headmistress of Ballakermeen high school allowed the soldiers to set up camp in the school gym for the duration of the visit because the visit coincided with Manx GP.
Lt Col Nick Pond MBE said the school staff had been brilliant and really looked after him and his troops.
