Man pleads guilty to lesser ABH charge

An Onchan man has admitted assaulting another.

32 year old Reuben Neil Shanley pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm, but not guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and unlawful wounding.

The prosecution accepted the pleas and said there would be no need for a trial.

Shanley was bailed to August 25th, when he'll appear in court for sentence
