Police warn motorists to drive safely

Roads Policing Officers are concerned by the number of serious smashes in recent weeks, and say it's only a matter of time before a crash costs someone their life.
Motorists are being urged to be cautious during the school holidays.
The police and the Department of Infrastructure are reiterating their road safety message following a number of recent crashes.
Drivers are asked to obey the speed limit, allow extra time for off-peak travel and ensure that children are restrained correctly.
The Roads Policing Unit says serious crashes cost the Island £170,000, whilst fatal collisions cost £1.4million.
