Isle of Man shoppers have helped raise £190,000 for the RNLI.

430 co-op stores in the Island, Scotland and Nothern Ireland collected the funds.

Some of the money will be used to cover the annual training costs for crew at Port St MAry and Douglas lifeboat stations, whilst Ramsey, Port Erin, Peel and Port St Mary will receive life jackets.

The money was raised over a 90 day period, and totalled more than double the original target of £90,000
