Computer users warned of Microsoft scammers

The Office of Fair Trading is warning of scammers telling computer owners on the Isle of Man that their PC has a virus.
Both businesses and private consumers have been contacted by a company claiming to represent Microsoft.
Whilst no-one agreed to pay for the repair service, those targetted commented on how easy it would have been to fall for the scam.
The OFT warns against giving out financial details to a company you are unfamiliar with.
