Legal world meets to remember First Deemster

Second Deemster David Doyle
A Eulogy to the First Deemster was read in the Courthouse this morning.
Second Deemster David Doyle paid tribute to Mike Kerruish, saying he was respected as a judge and authorative, as well as well liked and approachable.
Members of the Manx judiciary and court staff were present, and held a minutes silence after the eulogy.
Deemster Kerruish died last week following a battle with a long term illness.
His funeral takes place on Friday at Lonan Church.
