Some motorists have been ignoring traffic management at roadworks on Bowring Road in Ramsey.

The Department of Infrastructure says it has had to order more signs to make diversions and one-way systems in the area clearer.

Police say there have been some drivers travelling against the one-way system and some cyclists riding through the closed section of road.

Officers will also be starting laser patrols on Mooragh Promenade to monitor speeds in that area.
