Richmond Hill Scheme on time and on budget

The Infrastructure Minister says the works on Richmond Hill are on time and within budget.
Phil Gawne believes good weather has allowed the project to progress quicker than expected.
Work on the £3million improvement scheme started in February, and is due to be completed in December.
Workers were initially unhappy that motorists were speeding through the site.
Mr Gawne says it is a safety concern, but that motorists have been obeying the reduced speed limit recently [play clip]
