The Chief Minister is to be asked to give an update on the investigation following the recent Douglas East by-election.

The investigation was launched after it was alleged there was corrupt activity relating to proxy voting.

Police made several arrests in the run up to the election, and the Council of Ministers is also reviewing the proxy voting system.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran will ask Tony Brown to provide an update in Tynwald next week.
