Peel bridge to be removed for repairs

Peel Harbour Footbridge, behind the Energy FM car
The footbridge in Peel Harbour is to be removed next week for repairs.
Earlier this week is was confirmed the mechanism that allows the bridge to open has started to fail.
The Department of Infrastructure says the mechanism was meant to last for the life of the bridge.
Repairs will start on Tuesday, and it's hoped the bridge can be put back in place next Saturday
