Peel Harbour Footbridge behind the Energy FM car
The mechanism in Peel Harbour Footbridge has started to fail.
The Harbours Division is restricting the number of times the swing bridge opens to no more than five per tide.
Repairs are expected to be carried out shortly.
The Department of Infrastructure says it has been monitoring the mechanism closely after part of it had to be replaced last year.
