Man stole from hospitalised neighbour

A man from Willaston has admitted stealing from his neighbour's flat whilst he was in hospital.
53 year old Christopher Mather committed the offence between the 1st and 10th June.
When he was arrested, Mather initially denied responsibility or even knowing that his neighbour was in hospital.
He later confessed he had broken into the flat to steal cigarettes, but also took a phone and sold it for £14.
He'll appear in court for sentence on July 23rd.
