Fire crews and paramedics were called to help a motorcyclist who crashed in a field at Kirk Michael.

The man was with his son, who called the emergency services, on a track leading to the old Stock Field Road.

The motorcyclist had to be lifted to an ambulance 300 metres away from where he'd crashed.

Fire crews say the recovery was difficult, as it was suspected the man had neck, chest and back injuries.
