Members of the House of Keys will attempt to fill the vacant seat on the Legislative Council today.

It'll be the third time MHKs have met to elect a person to the position.

Outgoing MLC Alan Crowe, Malew Commissioner Barbara Brereten and former bank chief Tony Wild have been nominated.

Two elections previously took place in March and May, but none of the candidates were able to secure the support of thirteen MHKs to take the seat.
