Parking restriction reminder in Laxey
Motorists are being reminded that two sections of the road through Laxey have had parking suspended during the Festival of Motorcycling.
The Roads Policing Unit have pointed out they are the road from just past the Queens Pub to the Laxey Commissioners Office and from the Co-Op to the Tram Crossing by the Mines Tavern. Both areas are indicated by Police No Waiting cones.
Officers say the suspension of parking applies for the entire fortnight and not just when the roads are closed.
Police will be enforcing the suspension of parking and issuing £60 fixed penalty notices where necessary.
