Six week programme of road improvements begins on Tuesday
Work’s due to get underway this week to improve roads around the island.
Micro asphalt will be used to reduce the likelihood of skidding in wet weather by improving the texture of the road surface, which gives better tyre grip.
The Department of Infrastructure says it will seal cracks and will be used to fill potholes and uneven surfaces.
The six week improvement programme gets underway tomorrow.
