Tynwald petitioner wants precaution ahead of new technologies

A Tynwald Day petitioner is calling for the Manx government to become a ‘world leader in safe technologies’, and consider ’emerging science’ on issues such as 5G.

 

Stefanie Kerwin presented a document outlining her concerns, asking for politicians to introduce the ‘precautionary principle’ to safeguard the people of the Isle of Man.

 

Nineteen petitions were presented at St John’s yesterday.
