Douglas North MHK named "Politician of the Year"
Douglas North MHK Ralph Peake is to be named ’politician of the year’ in London later this month.
Mr Peake will get the accolade for his work as chairman of Quing, a new Manx mental health charity that helps trauma victims reintegrate in the community.
The presentation will take place at an awards dinner held in London later this month.
Mr Peake was nominated by Graham Clucas who has been in recovery since 2005 and returned to the island in 2016 after 10 years in the UK.
