Man due in court after Douglas stabbing
A man has been charged in connection with the stabbing of another in Douglas.
Detectives investigating the disturbances on Bucks Road and Hillside Avenue say the victim is still receiving treatment in hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening at this time but are serious.
A man has been charged with the offence and will appear before Douglas Court today.
Police want to reassure the public that it was an isolated incident, all parties involved were known to one another and the public were not at risk.
