TT 2019: Woman arrested for entering closed TT course

A woman has been arrested after entering the closed TT course yesterday.

Officers made the arrest earlier today after she crossed the closed road during last night's practice session.

The 35-year-old woman has been charged and currently is awaiting a court appearance.

Isle of Man Constabulary have reiterated "When roads are closed for TT Practices and Races it is for everyone's safety."

Last year, James William Ford from Bingley in Yorkshire was sentenced to four weeks in jail, and given a five-year banning order from entering the Isle of Man after trespassing on the closed course.
