Bells to ring for Notre Dame

The bells at Cathedral Isle of Man and St. George's Church will ring out for seven minutes at 7.00pm this evening.

The French cathedral caught fire on Monday evening, and was not fully extinguished until around 15 hours later. Most of Notre Dame's roof was destroyed, as was the cathedral's iconic spire.

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York asked Cathedrals and Churches across the UK and Diocese of Sodor and Man to toll their bells as a mark of solidarity.
