Driver safety warning due to equestrian event

Motorists are being warned to expect more horse-riders using local roads around St John's tomorrow.

Isle of Man Constabulary says an equestrian event is being held on Sunday mornng.

From around 9am onwards there will be more horse-riders, and vehicles with horse boxes on the road in the St John's area.

Officers are advising to drivers to slow down (15mph max), pass wide when safe to do so and drive away slowly without revving.
